Core assembly :

Our standard core construction is from high grade prime CRGO silicon sheet steel laminations. Use of non-ageing, low loss and high permeability sheet steel enables low noise during operation and less no-load losses. Design at lower flux density minimizes effect of harmonics which is now common in all industrial and commercial installation. Proper framework of the assembly ensures sturdy assembly and less stray magnetic losses.

Winding :

The winding is made out of high conductivity electrolytic grade copper of suitable cross section. HV winding mostly made out of copper wire in disc form and the LV winding made out of paper covered copper strip with crossover or helical formation. Higher ratings also involve transposition of multiple conductors enables the winding withstand electrodynamic stresses.

 
 

Drying :

The complete assembly of core and winding is dried out completely and put into temperature controlled oven. This ensures that all the moistures contents if present shall be remove resulting in elimination of any detrimental component.

 
 

Tanking :

The tank is robust with proper reinforcement and is tested for pressure against leakages. Before painting, shot blasting is done on the tank assembly as well as subassembly in order to have oil and rust free surface. Complete assembly is been lowered into the tank. Filtered and degassed oil is been filled into the tank under vacuum condition sand oil is been circulated thought vaccum filter plant. This ensures required insulation level.


 
 

Painting :

High quality exterior finish of transformer is achieved by using epoxy with PU paint to a Minimum, Thickness of 150 micro ns.


 
 
 

Final assembly :

All the parts like bushings, terminals, pipes, radiators, breather, vents, marshalling box, etc are been carefully fitted and checked brfore despatch.


 
 

Testing :

The transformer is moved to the testing section.It undergoes the routine test as per the national standards. The parameters are been check and approved by the QC department. Testing bench used for the purpose is highly sophisticated and having most modern facilities to ensure proper testing.
